Mentor Application

As a mentor, you will be a professional or an expert in your field, and enthusiastic about mentoring young people by sharing your career knowledge and insights. Your mentoring will guide young people to make the right career choices, as such decisions can sometimes be difficult for young people.

It is essential that you possess empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills. Mentoring involves actively listening to the mentee, providing constructive feedback, and offering guidance. Mentors motivate mentees to think critically and make informed decisions while enriching their personal and professional lives.

We seek volunteer mentors from a diverse range of expertise to join our programme. You will help young people through one-to-one mentorships or by supporting various events, such as career days in schools and workshops programmes. Your genuine commitment to their development can create a positive change to their lives.

Can you commit your time to sharing your career journey and inspire the next generation to reach their true potential? Can you provide work experience in your company? Or can you guide a young person with their university personal statements, job applications or interview preparation processes?

We will provide training and support to help you get started and during your mentorship.

If you’re interested in joining our programme as a volunteer mentor, please complete the application form below to provide details about yourself.  Your responses will help us to know more about you, your skills, areas of expertise and availability to ensure we match you with the most suitable mentee.

All your details provided will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and only used for the mentorship programme. We will be in touch about the next steps towards joining our programme, once your application is submitted.
